Uses of Bleaching Powder | Bleaching Powder formula to clean Bathroom and remove stains

Bleaching Powder as a Bathroom Cleaner:

  1. Take equal part of bleach and water
  2. Mix thoroughly
  3. Spray it on the bathroom floor / tiles by a sprayer
  4. Rinse off after 15 minutes
  5. Bleaching powder will not only clean the tiles and make it shine. It will also kill the germs in the bathroom.

Bleaching Powder as a Household Disinfectant Spray:

  1. Mix 1 teaspoon bleach in 1 litre hot water
  2. Use it as a disinfectant spray to clean counter tops,table clothes,lawn furniture etc

Bleaching Powder to remove moss and algae:

  1. Mix 25 gram of bleaching powder with 1 litre of water. 
  2. Use this solution to scrub the slippery floor with moss , algae

Bleaching powder to sanitize garden tools:

  1. Sterilize your garden tools by washing them with a solution of 1 tea spoon of bleaching powder in litre of water.
  2. After drying the tools in the sun, rub a few drops of oil to prevent rust.

Bleaching Powder to preserve cut flowers fresh:

  1. You can preserve the cut flower fresh it you keep the flower in a solution of 1 teaspoon bleaching powder in l litre of water. 
  2. You can inhibit the growth of bacteria by adding 5 drops of bleach solution made of 2g gms of bleaching powder in 1 litre of water along with 5 ml of sugar solution which will keep the water from getting cloudy.

Caution:

  1. Do not use both bleaching powder and ammonia together.
  2. Never use bleaching powder on colored objects as it may fade the objects.
  3. While using bleaching powder solution, avoid using throwing around the objects. Instead try to use sprayer.
