Bleaching Powder as a Bathroom Cleaner:
- Take equal part of bleach and water
- Mix thoroughly
- Spray it on the bathroom floor / tiles by a sprayer
- Rinse off after 15 minutes
- Bleaching powder will not only clean the tiles and make it shine. It will also kill the germs in the bathroom.

- You can preserve the cut flower fresh it you keep the flower in a solution of 1 teaspoon bleaching powder in l litre of water.
- You can inhibit the growth of bacteria by adding 5 drops of bleach solution made of 2g gms of bleaching powder in 1 litre of water along with 5 ml of sugar solution which will keep the water from getting cloudy.
Caution:
- Do not use both bleaching powder and ammonia together.
- Never use bleaching powder on colored objects as it may fade the objects.
- While using bleaching powder solution, avoid using throwing around the objects. Instead try to use sprayer.
